The Diploma takes a learner from the script to the literature: reading, speaking, writing and translating Sanskrit, and seeing the knowledge traditions it carries.
It runs in six papers.
- DSK01 - the language: script, nouns, verbs, sandhi, samāsa.
- DSK02 - speaking and writing Sanskrit.
- DSK03 - translation.
- DSK04 - literature, classical and modern.
- DC01 - an introduction to the Indian Knowledge System.
- DSK-PR01 - a project, with twelve sample topics.
Every unit is online in SHABDA, with its lessons, exercises and tests. Classes meet every month, online or with a teacher.
